So, I have my own blog now. Not so long ago I didn't even know what a 'blog' was. I feel positively techie!!

But, let me introduce myself first.
I go by the name Dutch (go on... guess where I was born) I am %$# years old, very happily married and living in the SF bay area.

It's only a few months since I quit my job as Dir. of Business Development (a glorified title for salesman) at a software development firm in San Francisco and took on a short term contract marketing job. Why exchange a nice solid 9-5 job for the uncertainty of a short term contract? Because i wanted to spend more time playing poker is why!

I have been playing for a few years now, first on-line for funny money of course. A whole year of that, keeping meticulous records. About 2 years ago I started going to a local casino (San Pablo) and playing for real money. It has been going well enough that I am now making a rather handsome second income from it. So right now, life is very, very, very good!

So there you have me in a nutshell: A wannabee poker player with an attitude.
I will be sharing poker stories and no doubt also quite a few of my 'views of the world'. It's gonna be a great ride. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.... or hate... or love.... or get angry. Anything except apathy is welcome!
